'WE' are not super heroes who can save the world.
'WE' are not warriors who engaged in warfare to protect the nation.'WE' are not Scientists who can do Wonders.
But,
'WE' are just the youth, who can bring the 'CHANGE'
Airport
“What are you doing?” She is talking to herself sitting on a chair in the airport
lounge. Her eyes started to fill with tears.
“Why are you doing this? You don’t have to do this”, her inner voice raised
again.
She spoke to herself confidently and said, “Yes, you should not do this.”
She stood up and walked to exit, called her driver. She stepped into the car, said
some address and started to recall her past.
“I am Vignudha. I was in the airport heading for U.S to study M.S which is my
dream goal, life ambition. Actually not mine, my parents wished it, so I wished
the same, but I am going back to begin my life in the other way”
First day of college
19th Oct 2010, like every individual, i was feeling the same nervousness as it wasContinuation : We | A Narr4ative by Prana| Chapter-2
the first day of my Engineering. Not only that, it was also the same day that my
eye’s firstly met with jai. Praying to god, I took my first step in to the college
campus. While I was slowly walking in the campus thinking “this is going to be
my home for the next four years”, someone called me. I was going to turn but
suddenly thought back of my father telling me about ragging in the college.
When I was thinking what to do, a girl came to me saying “I am sorry, I have no
choice. Seniors are calling you”.
She had no choice; I too had no choice except to follow her to seniors.
Unfortunately I saw a person who was continuously staring at us from distance. I
said “us” because i don’t know who he was looking at. It looked to me as he was
also a fresher by the awkward looks and expressions he was giving, as of an
official transferred to a completely unknown place. I was thinking “anybody
please save me from this trouble” looking at the seniors who are lurking all over
the place. And suddenly that guy from distance started walking towards us and
went straight to one of the seniors and whispered something in his ears.
Surprisingly, all of them scattered leaving us behind.
“Thanks”, I said with a very confused expression on my face.
With clarifying tone, he said “I said some people are recording with their
mobiles even if they find the slightest case of ragging. But I don’t know who
they are and where they are. They just looked around and to my amazement,
they left. At first I thought that they won’t believe me but it happened. Luck
favoured me this time”.
“Thanks. By the way, I am Saveena” The girl next to me also thanked him.
“Jayakar, you can call me ‘jai’”.
“Vignudha”
We three shook each other’s hand with smile and left.
He was very cool and jovial. I don’t know how or why he became special to me
at first sight.
“Ma’am, Ma’am”, driver called Vignudha saying that they reached the address.
She stepped out and moved into house.
No people in the house seemed to know her that they are looking at her in such a
way as though she is an insurance agent. She looked ambiguously and asked for
a person.
They replied “No, they left this house two years ago”.
They gave address to her.
She said “Thanks” and left the house. She signed the driver to move to that
address.
